I know, I know. It has been awhile since my last literary forage into the world of paintball. I’m sure you all know how life sometimes has a way of not-so-subtly redirecting us. I recently made the (last-minute) decision to leave a fabulous full time job to return to student-hood…crazy, eh? Yeah, I’m a nut. I won’t bore you with the details but these changes in my life have meant that my schedule has had to undergo a massive renovation and with it, my fabulous blogging plans. So, it is with no further ado that we get to the 2012 CXBL Season favourites!

The ranking system for the 2012 CXBL Season Favourites was built based on the top ten most frequently nominated players in each category. The final results are based STRICTLY on player/fan rankings thus they are “favourites” not necessarily based on skill or statistics. The final ranking has nothing to do with my personal opinion.
In each specific category, you will find the final standings from 1st to 10th based on the ranking system, complete with the final ranking percentage for each player. The ranking percentage is essentially the average of each player’s total rankings. The person with the lowest ranking percentage received the first place slot, and they proceed in order from there.
